A leading major manufacturer are currently looking to add an experienced VRV/VRF Engineer to their work force, covering the North West region.

The successful engineer will ideally be considered an ‘all rounder’ with experience working on systems such as VRV, VRF, Multi Split and Split. You will be considered a VRV/VRF specialist, (as this will make up the majority of the work load,) You will need to be extremely competent on Daikin and Mitsubishi product in particularly. Experience and competency using Service Checker Software would be advantageous, but not essential, as training on this would be provided, if required.

You will have a background consisting of service and maintenance works, including both pre planned and reactive, from basic maintenance such as filter and oil changes to major repairs including compressor and fan motor replacement. Fault finding skills, both mechanical and electrical, are essential.

You will ideally have completed an apprenticeship/training programme, having gained a minimum of C&G Level 2 + F-Gas 2079 or J11 (or of course time served). Any other qualifications, particularly electrical, are advantageous but not essential.

With the company in question being a dedicated chiller and air conditioning company, there is a clear progression path on offer for the successful applicant, with the opportunity to make the switch over into a chiller bias position over a period of time and training. On offer is a fantastic basic salary of up to £44,000 (DOE) with paid travel time (upwards of 9k per annum on average), making this a very lucrative position! There are unlimited O/T opportunities, a fully expensed vehicle and a 1 in 10 (!) call out.

About Your Recruiter..

I entered the industry in the early 2000's joining Daikin Applied (then McQuay) as an apprentice upon leaving school before progressing into a senior engineering position within the industry. In 2013, I made the crazy decision to recruit for the industry, working with both leading manufacturers and specialist service providers. I know good candidates deserve great roles, and more importantly I realise the value employers place in their staff whilst out there representing their company. I aim to introduce key talent to the Air Con world.
