Industrial Refrigeration Engineer – Greater Manchester

£40,000 + Paid Travel Time (OTE: £56,000)

 

A world renowned, leading name within the industrial refrigeration industry is looking to add to their highly skilled service team within the Greater Manchester region.

The successful engineer (s) will be required to perform both reactive and pre-planned service works, working predominantly with large scale industrial (Ammonia) systems, whilst occasionally being required to carry out works smaller scale commercial refrigeration equipment such as cold rooms and walk inn’s, as and when required. Fault finding skills, both mechanical and electrical, are an absolute necessity, with a background in major repair works being desirable.

Applicants must be fully conversant and experienced in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, ideally a minimum of 12 months post apprenticeship.  Applicants must be qualified to NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, hold Safe Handling of Gas Certificates which should include F-Gas and Ammonia Safe Handling, a Hydrocarbon Care Card would also be advantageous.

On offer is a fantastic basic salary, of up to £40,000 with paid travel time on top, making this a very lucrative position! There are unlimited O/T opportunities, a choice of fully expensed car or van, life insurance, private health care and high pension (6%)
