Chiller Engineer - London & South East

£35,000 - £42,000 + Paid Travel Time

 

A leading Chiller & Air Conditioning Manufacturer are seeking a Field Service Technician to join their highly skilled team of engineers, covering London & The South East.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of Chillers and AC/VRV products and have a good understanding of BMS controls.

Main Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance and repair of chiller and AC products with minimum direct supervision and within a pre-set timescale
  • To liaise with customers to ensure work is being carried out to their satisfaction and to identify future potential business
  • To give detailed technical reports on work carried out, or further work necessary to restore plant to optimum operating efficiency; to correctly complete work reports/time sheets to enable invoices to be submitted with minimum delay; to maintain regular contact with service centre
  • To carry out simple, on site, equipment installation to acceptable standards.
  • On-site apprentice training
  • To ensure that the Company’s technical and safety standards are maintained and to make recommendations for improvements
  • To adhere to company policy of quality service standards
  • To perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 year's experience in similar role
  • Recognised apprenticeship (with good mechanical & basic electrical competencies.)
  • Advantage to have competency in safe handling of refrigerants, hydrocarbons and have good sound knowledge on controls and electrical fault finding
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
