Salary 60,000 - 72,000 CHF, + excl benefits, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, 8% pension, global travel

My client is a manufacturer of world class automation solutions to the pharma and medical device world, 300mn CHF global sales, with offices across the globe. They are looking to add to their powerful team an Applications Engineer / Sales Support Engineer to contribute to the delivery of their world class solutions to the worlds leading pharmaceutical and assembly clients
The Application Engineer / Sales Support Engineer key responsibilities working alongside the dynamic sales team will be to deliver and develop customer specifications and products to create highly complex and innovative assembly concepts based on the companies assembly platforms.
This role nestles between the sales and the engineering design team supporting the hugely prestigious pharmaceutical client base, these are major contracts are at the highest level and the engineering excellence reflects that. Everything from design support to delivering presentations to key customer stake holders.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious Applications Engineer / Sales Support Engineer living in, or willing to relocate to Switzerland, 1 hour from Zurich & Geneva, Service with packaging machinery, food/automotive/pharma automation experience looking to take their career and engineering skills to the next level.
Role
Applicants anywhere in the UK williing to relocate who have the relevant experience will be considered. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of application engineering / sales support engineering with leading organisations, medical solutions not a prerequisite.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineer (HND, university degree or equivalent) with relevant experience
- High degree of analytical skills while maintaining a creative approach to your work
- Ability to meet objectives without getting lost in the details
- Open Minded personality with communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Fluent in language skills German / Swiss-German is desirable, any other language a plus

In return my client is offering an excellent basic salary to Swiss levels commensurate on experience.
