Air Conditioning Service Engineer  - VRV/VRF Specialist

London & South East -  Up to £42,000 (OTE: £57,000+) + Paid Travel

A leading chiller and air conditioning specialist service provider are currently looking to add an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to their highly skilled 'Southern' team, predominantly covering the City of London, but also the Home Counties / South East, as and when required.

The successful engineer will ideally be considered an ‘all rounder’ with experience working on systems such as VRV, VRF, Multi Split and Split. You will be considered a VRV/VRF specialist, (as this will make up the majority of the work load,) You will need to be extremely competent on Daikin and Mitsubishi product in particularly, whilst also being familiar with the use of Daikin Service Checker.

You will have a background consisting of service and maintenance works, including both pre-planned and reactive, from basic maintenance such as filter and oil changes to major repairs including compressor and fan motor replacement. Fault finding skills, both mechanical and electrical, are essential.

For any interested engineer, who lacks specialist training, such as manufacturers courses, this is readily available and encouraged to continue development and progression.

With the company in question being a dedicated chiller and air conditioning company, there is a clear progression path on offer for the successful applicant, with the opportunity to make the switch over into a chiller bias position over a period of time and training. On offer is a fantastic basic salary of up to £42,00 (DOE) with paid travel time, making this a very lucrative position. There are unlimited O/T opportunities (those who are O/T hungry and want to work every weekend, feel free! Although there is absolutely no requirement for O/T, for those who enjoy their weekends off!), a fully expensed vehicle and a 1 in 18 (!) call out.

If your looking to start 2020 with a new start, with a dynamic, forward thinking company with fantastic benefits and a clear progression and development path on offer, but most importantly, value their staff.. get in touch!

About Your Recruiter..

I entered the industry in the early 2000's joining Daikin Applied (then McQuay) as an apprentice upon leaving school before progressing into a senior engineering position within the industry. In 2013, I made the crazy decision to recruit for the industry, working with both leading manufacturers and specialist service providers. I know good candidates deserve great roles, and more importantly I realise the value employers place in their staff whilst out there representing their company. I aim to introduce key talent to the Air Con world.
