Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer – Essex / London

£37,000  - £45,000 (DOE) + Paid Travel

A leading Air Conditioning and Chiller service provider (with sister company being a manufacturer!) are currently looking to add a Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer to their ever growing work force, based out of Slough/ Heathrow, predominantly covering 'The West', including Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Heathrow as a general rule, the East side of the M25. The odd trip into London will be required on occasion (nature of the job unfortunately!), but far from a regular basis!

The successful engineer will ideally be considered an ‘all rounder’ with experience working on systems such as VRV, VRF, Multi Split, Close Control and DX (ideally from a range of different manufacturers), across a range of environments with cooling required for both comfort and critical, whilst also being competent working with both air cooled and water cooled chillers. You will be required to work on chillers from all of the leading manufacturers and carrying out works such as major leak repairs, compressor replacement, component replacement, fault finding (both mechanical and electrical) and general chiller maintenance.  You will be working predominantly on Screw and Scroll compressor types.

On offer is a fantastic basic salary of up to £45,000 (DOE), paid travel time, unlimited O/T opportunities, a fully expensed company vehicle, life insurance, and pension. The call out rota will be 1 in 9.

The company in question pride themselves on promoting from within, and with their rapid growth and progression, there are continually opportunities to progress into supervisory and management positions.

About Your Recruiter..

I entered the industry in the early 2000's joining Daikin Applied (then McQuay) as an apprentice upon leaving school before progressing into a senior engineering position within the industry. In 2013, I made the crazy decision to recruit for the industry, working with both leading manufacturers and specialist service providers. I know good candidates deserve great roles, and more importantly I realise the value employers place in their staff whilst out there representing their company. I aim to introduce key talent to the Air Con world.
